Starting the match with Doğuş, Dragic, Simon, Motum, and Dunston, Anadolu Efes grabbed the leadership with Simon and Dragic duo’s points at the second minute and set the score table to 7-0 and caused the rival to call an early time-out. Returning from the time-out Dunston scored 4 points and afterward, Motum and McCollum’s three-pointers set the score to 17-9 at the 6th minute. In this minute, captain Doğuş also scored and our team finished the first 10 minutes 26-11 ahead. Starting the second quarter with Dunston’s one point from the free-throw, Anadolu Efes was 27-11 ahead at the 11th minute. At the 12th minute the score was brought up to 27-17 by the rival and so coach Ergin Ataman called a time-out. Returning from the time-out McCollum’s three-pointer at the 13:30 the score table was set to 30-19. With Brown and Doğuş’s points at the last 3:30 minutes of the quarter set the score table to 35-24, then in the remaining duration Birkan and Brown scored 3 points and Anadolu Efes finished the first half 38-28 ahead.
Starting the second half with Dunston’s point, Doğuş and Motum’s baskets at the 22nd minute the score table was set to 44-28. Following 1:30 minute duration the score was brought up to 44-36 and so coach Ergin Ataman called a time-out. Returning from the time-out Simon and Doğuş’s points at the 25th minute brought the score to 49-37. In the last part of the quarter, Simon’s points were continued by Motum and Brown and our team finished the third quarter 64-53 ahead. Starting the final quarter with McCollum’s 5 points, our team brought the score table to 69-56 at the 32nd minute. With Simon’s consecutive two 3-pointers at the 34th minute raised the score difference to 17 points: 75-58. After another three-pointer scored by McCollum, our team set the score to 78-60 at the 35th minute. Our team continued their leadership throughout the match until the end, and with Simon, Brown, Dragic, and Doğuş’s points, Anadolu Efes signed their name to the finale with the score of 90-76.
