Our team was qualified for the semi-finals with the result and our rival will be Beşiktaş Sompo Japan.
Starting the match with Larkin, Doğuş, Simon, Moerman and Dunston, Anadolu Efes’s first points were scored by captain Doğuş and Larkin’s three-pointers and at the third minute of the match our team was 6-2 ahead. In the first part of the match Doğuş and Larkin continued to score and our team was 11-9 ahead at the 5th minute of the match. As our 12th point was scored by Simon, Moerman’s following 4 points set the score tablet o 16-19 and our team was trailing at the end of the first quarter. Starting the second quarter with Dunston’s 3 points and-one, Anadolu Efes set the score tablet o 19-21 at the 11th minute. After Simon’s point, Micic scored 4 consecutive points and the 13th minute was passed with the score 25-26. At the 15th minute Buğrahan scored a three-pointer and the score table was set to 28-29, then Sertaç scored 2 points from the free-throw line and our team was ahead again at 15:30: 30-29. After Micic and Dunston’s points, our team head into the last minute of the quarter 3 points ahead: 36-33. Remaining duration Metecan scored 3 more points and Anadolu Efes finished the first half 39-33 ahead.
Starting the second half with Dunston’s fancy dunk, Anadolu Efes raised the score difference to 10 points with Moerman’s 4 points at the 24th minute: 45-35. In these minutes Moerman and Sertaç were effective in the painted area and set the score table to 51-41 at the 28th minute, then in the remaining duration Buğrahan and Micic’s three points set the score of the 3rd quarter: 57-46. Starting the final quarter with Micic’s three-pointer, our team was 60-46 ahead at the 32nd minute. With Metecan and Moerman’s points at the 36th minute our team was 67-55 ahead, then in the remaining duration Yiğitcan and Onuralp contributed into scoring and Anadolu Efes won the match with the score 73-59.
