Starting the match with Larkin, Micic, Beaubois, Moerman, and Dunston, Anadolu Efes’s first points were scored by Micic. Returning from the time-out in the last 1 and a half minutes of the quarter Dunston scored 1 and Micic scored 2 points and our team was trailing at the end of the first quarter: 15-25. Starting the second quarter with Micic’s underneath shots, Anadolu Efes set the score table to 19-29 at the 12th minute with Dunston’s fancy dunk. After Larkin’s three-pointer, our shorts continued to score from underneath and set the score table to 28-36 at the 15th minute. In this part, Beaubois scored 3 and Sertaç scored 2 points from the free-throw line and our team brought down the score difference to 3 points at the 16th minute: 33-36. In the last part of the quarter Larkin and Moerman set the score table to 37-38 and brought down the score difference to 1 point, then in the remaining duration, our team couldn’t score and was trailing 37-42 heading into the changing rooms.
Starting the second half with Larkin’s basket, Beaubois scored from the free-throw line and our team was ahead at the 21st minute: 43-42. After Moerman and Beaubois’s three-pointers at 22:30, our team set the score table to 49-44 and the rival team called a time-out. Returning from the time-out Moerman scored 2 points from the free-throw line and our team was 51-48 ahead at the 24th minute. Returning from the time-out Dunston scored with a layup and our team brought down the score difference to 7 points, then Moerman scored 2 three-pointers and brought down the score difference to 1 point at the 36th minute: 68-69. After captain Doğuş’s 1 point from the free-throw line, Micic scored a three-pointer and tied up the score table: 72-72. Within the last 1:15 minutes of the match out team was trailing 72-79, then Dunston scored but our team lost the match with the score 73-82.
