Anadolu Efes signs a familiar name, Adrien Moerman

Anadolu Efes signed a 1+1 year contract with the player Adrien Moerman who was wearing the jersey of Barcelona Lassa.

The basketball player was born in 1988, 2.01 meters tall and plays as the power forward.

Starting his Professional basketball career in 2005 with France’s Chorale Roanne team, Moerman played in the team for two years, then in the 2007-08 season, he was transferred to France’s JSF Nanterre team. Starting to play in France’s Entente Orleans team in 2008, French player started to wear the jersey of France’s Sluc Nancy team in 2011-12 season. In 2012-13 season Moerman was transferred to Spain’s Bizkaia Basket Bilbao team as he wanted to have an overseas experience, then he returned to his country after two seasons and wore the jersey of Limoges team. In the 2015-16 season he played for Turkey’s Banvit team and in the 2016-17 season, he wore the jersey of Darüşşafaka team. Then he was transferred to Barcelona Lassa team in the last season.

Becoming the French Basketball Champion with Chorale Roanne jersey in the 2006-07 season and with Limoges jersey in the 2014-15 season, Moerman’s teams Chorale Roanne in 2007 and Entente Orleans in 2010 received The French Basketball Cup. Receiving the Spanish Basketball Cup with Barcelona Lassa team in the last season, French player received the French Basketball Supercup with Sluc Nancy in 2011. He participated in the All-Star games in 2012 and 2014 in France and in 2016 in Turkey. Scoring 577 points in 32 matches in the year 2016 with the Banvit jersey, French player became the player that scored the most points of the season, and became the second player of the season with an average of 18,0 points per game. He was awarded a gold medal in 2004 with Under 16 French National Team in the Under 16 National Championship they played against Greek Under 16 Team and was awarded a bronze medal in 2007 in Under 19 Championship that was held in Serbia.

While wearing the Barcelona Lassa jersey in the past season Moerman participated in 39 matches for 21:50 minutes with an average of 9,2 points, 5,4 rebounds, and 0,8 assists.

Moerman also participated in 30 matches in Euroleague in the last season with an average of 22:15 minutes, 7,6 points, 5,5 rebounds and 1,0 assists.
