Drafted in 2007 by Golden State Warriors of NBA after his four years at the University of Massachusetts in NCAA, Lasme signed with Los Angeles D-Fenders of the D-League in November of the same year. Signed by Miami Heat in 2008, the competent player spent the 2008-09 season at the Serbian side Partizan. Going to Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv the next season, Lasme started playing for Maine Red Claws of D-League in March 2011. Signing with the Spanish side Obradorio CAB in the 2011-12 season, Stephane Lasme had been playing for Panathinaikos for the last two years.

Selected the best defender of the Euroleague at the end of the 2012-13 season, Lasme had a league-high 2.4 offensive rebounds per game with Partizan in the 2008-09 season. He achieved the Serbian League championship and the Serbian Cup the same season with Partizan, Israeli League championship and Israeli Cup in the 2009-10 season with Maccabi Tel Aviv, along with two Greek League championships and two Greek Cups in 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons with Panathinaikos. Also attaining the Adriatic League championship in 2009 with Partizan, Lasme hadf been selected for the All-Atlantic First Team in the 2006-07 season in his college career. Stephane Lasme also plays for the Gabon National Team.

Playing in 28 matches in the Euroleague in the previous season, Lasme had 8.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 21.06 minutes per game.

He had 10.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 20.30 minutes per game within 33 matches in the Greece League, which ended a few days ago.

At the previous year’s Euroleague Top 16 third-week game played in Athens, Lasme had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists with Panathinaikos against Anadolu Efes. In the 10th week game played in Istanbul, he had 11 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks.
