Anadolu Efes signs giant center Krstic...

Anadolu Efes has signed Nenad Krstic, formerly playing at the Russian side CSKA Moscow. The 31-year-old Serbian player stands at 212 cm tall, and plays at center.

Starting basketball at Partizan youth team, Krstic had his first professional experience at the same team in the 2000-01 season. After playing for Partizan for four years, he signed with New Jersey Nets from the NBA in the 2004-05 season, and spent another four seasons there. Transferring to Russian side Triumph Lyubertsy in the 2008-09 season, Krstic was signed by another NBA team, Oklahoma City Thunder, in December 2009. After spending two years there, he was signed by Boston Celtics in February 2011. Going back to Russia in the 2011-12 season, Krstic has been playing for CSKA Moscow for the last three seasons.

Selected to the All-Euroleague Team in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, Krstic played an important part for CSKA Moscow to qualify for the Final Four. Among the permanent players of the Serbian National Team, the prolific player won the silver medal with the Serbian National Team at FIBA Eurobasket 2009 held at Poland.

Having attained three league championships with Partizan in the 2001-02, 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons, Krstic had two Russian League championships with CSKA Moscow in 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, along with three championships at the VTB United League, participated by teams from Northeastern Europe in the 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.

Playing in 29 matches in the Euroleague in the previous season, Krstic had 9.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 19.23 minutes per game.

He had 12.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19.58 minutes per game within 28 matches at the VTB United League.

Anadolu Efes signed a two-year deal with Nenad Krstic.
