Ataman: “Contribution of Turkish players held a great importance…”

Defeating Khimki Moscow team 99-60 in the 20th-week match of Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman stated his thoughts post-game:

"Shved was very active within the first quarter, though we’ve managed to stop Khimki scoring after included Doğuş to defend him. Shved is the key player for their offensive game. We’ve set our tempo, played great basketball. We’ve shared the ball well, and received a great contribution from the bench. Especially, Sertaç, Buğrahan, and Doğuş contributed amazingly. This match was a valuable win. By the way, a Turkish player selected as the MVP after a long while, this is important for both me and the team. The contribution of Turkish players held great importance, Sertaç was selected the MVP, Buğrahan contributed on the offensive game and Doğuş was great on the defense. This is as important as the victory tonight.”
