Ataman: “We Talked About Things We Need To Fix During The Half Time…”

Defeating Alba Berlin team 84-76 in the 19th-week match of Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman stated his thoughts post-game:

"ALBA Berlin began aggressively. They pressured Micic and Larkin’s pick’n roll very well, we’ve struggled to build our own offensive game but the first quarter ended with a tie of 18-18. We’ve had weird turnovers within the second quarter, and the rival team found shots through fastbreaks. They’ve scored 17 points through fastbreaks and 14 points from their offensive games. We talked about all these and the things we need to fix during the half time. We began the second half aggressively, pushed their guards well. Our bigs stopped their rivals well on the defense. We’ve shared the ball well on offense, Moerman scored 2 three-pointers, we’ve balanced the score table, this hyped our morale, then, we’ve played our own game. It was a tough match but this is normal. Every match in Euroleague is tough, we’ve played our own game that we’re used to within the second half.”
