Defeated by Greece’s Panathinaikos Superfoods 82-81 in the eighth-week match of Turkish Airlines Euroleague game, Anadolu Efes head coach Velimir Perasovic stated his thoughts at the post-game press conference:

"It was a tough game. It was a tough loss for us. Congrats to Panathinaikos, they deserved to win. Though we would have deserved it if we had won, too. I think we started the game bad. They scored too easy. Though after that we played much better and we had control of the game until the end. But with the game on the line, they scored triples and our shots went out, and they hit last-second shots. Things like that happen in basketball.
