Beaubois's three-pointer from the corner in the last attack of the quarter determined the score for the first 10 minutes: 18-17. Singleton scored our first points in the second quarter, while Moerman's two baskets in a row gave us a 22-21 lead. Moerman's three-pointer and Simon's elegant layup helped us to balance the score, and we were ahead 36-32 in the last minute with Micic's three points from an and-one. With five points scored by the opponent in the last minute, the first half ended with Zenit leading by one: 36-37.

In the first eight minutes of the third quarter, our only basket came from Simon, who finished Beaubois's full-court pass from under the rim, and Zenit dominated the last 2 minutes with a 38-50 lead. With Moerman's basket from under the rim and Micic's close-range shot, the score was moved to 42-52 and the third quarter ended with this score. Our first points in the last quarter came with Beaubois's two layups and the score came to 46-59. Moerman's basket from under the rim and Micic's three-pointer made the score 51-65. We brought the score to 59-65 with Dunston's dunk and points from Micic with Simon's and-one. In the remaining part, Simon's close-range shot and Micic's two layups finished the game by 67-76.
