Perasovic: “We had very bad shoots...”

Defeated by Tofaş 80-69 in the seventh-week match of Tahincioğlu Basketbol Super League game, Anadolu Efes head coach Velimir Perasovic stated his thoughts at the post-game press conference:
Perasovic: “We had very bad shoots...”

“I congratulate Tofaş. We have played against a high-class team. Tofaş played very well and they are a leading team, they play with a very good fastbreak and defend aggressively. I can say this clearly that their defense was very aggressive. They have turned our turnovers ınto fastbreaksç We have played with a very bad percentage of shoots, especially in the second period we failed to show a good performance and we were cut off from the game. We managed to comeback with offensive rebounds in the third quarter of the match but in general, when our players, especially McCollum had a low percentage of long-range shoots we lost the match. The key to the match was the turnovers and low percentage long-range shots.”

Anadolu Efes’s successful player Errick McCollum also stated his thoughts at the press conference: “It was a tough match. Unfortunately, we have had a bad fastbreak in the second quarter and thus we had a tough time to comeback from a good team.”
