Perasovic: “We have a chance to win the next two matches and come here again…”

Defeated by Beşiktaş Sompo Japan 74-72 in the second semifinal match of Spor Toto Basketbol Super League Play-off, Anadolu Efes head coach Velimir Perasovic stated his thoughts at the post-game press conference:

“First of all, I congratulate Beşiktaş Sompo Japan. We have played better than the last match and we have gained a chance to win the match. I think that the biggest difference was the rival team’s free-throws. They have had almost two times more free-throws than us, this was the key of the victory. They have passed us esily on the man to man struggles and our toughness was not allowed, I think. Especially when we have had a technical foul it was supposed to be opposite offensive foul. We are trailing 2-0 in the series at the moment. We have a chance to win and come back here if we win the matches we will host…”

Anadolu Efes’s successful player Cedi Osman also stated his thoughts at the press conference:”It was a tough match. We have played better than the first match and we have fought for our way until the last ball. Actually, we should play like this in every game. We are in a tough position at the moment, trailing 2-0. Though we are Anadolu Efes… We have two matches we will host in front of us. We would like to win both. It will be tough, though, we won’t surrender easily. We would like to come here again and win the series. We will go match by match at first. We will concentrate for the Saturday match the best way…”
