Pink Ball, which has become the symbol of early diagnosis awareness in breast cancer, took off from the hands of successful actress Demet Özdemir in its 8th year. Successful actress Demet Özdemir, who is this year's voluntary supporter of the Pink Ball on the Field project, implemented with the cooperation of Anadolu Medical Center and Anadolu Efes Sports Club, drew attention to the importance of early diagnosis in breast cancer.

Early diagnosis saves lives in breast cancer, which affects 1 in 8 women. The Pink Ball on the Field project carried out in collaboration with Anadolu Medical Center and Anadolu Efes Sports Club continues to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis.

Pink Ball, which has become the symbol of early diagnosis in breast cancer, took the field for the 8th time in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match played between Anadolu Efes Sports Club and UNICS Kazan on Thursday, October 21, 2021. The match began after Demet Özdemir threw the jump ball with the Pink Ball.

Successful actress Demet Özdemir, who voluntarily supported the project, said, “I am very happy to be able to help raise awareness on such an important issue, I hope I can contribute to more women taking a step towards their health. It makes me proud to return to the Anadolu Efes court, where I have been many times before, with the Pink Ball on the Field project.”

Stating that she understood the importance of early diagnosis in breast cancer better with the Pink Ball on the Field project, Özdemir said, “I know and understand that sometimes we say 'it won't happen to me' and sometimes we delay our doctor controls just because we are worried about the result. We should not delay seeing our doctor with such thoughts. It is very important that we remind ourselves and our loved ones of this, and in this way, we can ensure that more women are protected from breast cancer.” Demet Özdemir invited all women to take action for their health.
