Starting the match with Heurtel, Cedi, Paul, Brown and Dunston, Anadolu Efes’s first point was scored by Cedi. Returning from the time-out Thomas scored one point from the free-throw line then Dunston scored 4 points and Can Maxim scored a three-pointer and brought the score to 38-32 at the 15th minute. Remaining 5 minutes of the quarter Thomas, Paul and Cedi scored and Anadolu Efes finished 45-41 ahead.
Starting the second period with Dunston’s point, Brown and Paul duo scored 12 points and at the 26th minute the score was brought to 61-55. Our 63th point was scored by Dunston, then Efes was trailing at the 29th minute with the score of 63-64. Within the last minute of the quarter Dunston scored three points and went into the last quarter 66-64 ahead. Starting the final quarter with Thomas’s three-pointer from our first offense and brought the score to 69-66. After Cedi’s point Thomas also scored and after Can Maxim’s five points the score table was set to 78-77 at the 33rd minute. After Dunston’s point and one more point from the free-throw line Efes was trailing 82-81 at the 35th minute, then with the hosting team’s points Efes went into the last three points of the game trailing 86-81. Paul and Dunston’s scores brought down the score difference to 1 point at the remaining 1:45 minutes of the game with the score 85-86. Then Anadolu Efes led the score table again with Can Maxim’s three-pointer at the last 24 seconds of the game with the score of 88-86 and in the remaining duration Heurtel scored one point from the free-throw line and the rival team scored a three-pointer at the last second and this balanced the score and the overtime had to be played.
Starting the overtime with Brown’s point, the 42nd minute was finished with a balanced score of 91-91. The rival team’s points were responded with Dunston’s points and so the balance was not broken at the 43:30 either: 93-93. Anadolu Efes trailing after the rival team’s points, then even though Can Maxim scored three-pointer our team lost the game with the score of 100-96.
