We signed a 1+1 year contract with Italian player Achille Polonara.

Born in 1991, Polonara is 2.02 meters tall and plays as power forward.

Polonara, who started to play basteball at Italy's Teramo Basket team and was promoted to the A team in the 2009-10 season, played here for three seasons. The successful player, who moved to Varese in the 2012-13 season, made his way to another Italian team, Reggio Emilia, at the beginning of the 2014-15 season, after two seasons there. After playing here for three seasons, he transferred to Dinamo Sassari and played for two seasons in a row. The Italian player, who transferred to Spain's Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz team for his first abroad experience at the beginning of the 2019-20 season, transferred to Fenerbahçe Beko at the beginning of last season after two seasons there.

Having enjoyed the Italian Cup with Reggio Emilia in 2015, Polonara won the FIBA ​​Europe Cup championship with Dinamo Sassari in the 2018-19 season. The successful player, who won the Spanish ACB League championship in his first season in Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz, also enjoyed the championship in the ING Basketball Super League last season.

Polonara also took the second place with the Italian National Team at the U20 European Basketball Championship held in Bilbao, Spain in 2011.

Achille Polonara, who averaged 25.52 minutes in 20 games in the ING Basketball Super League last season, had the averages of 9.95 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.95 assists per game.

In Euroleague, Polonara averaged 22.07 minutes in 33 games, averaging 7.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
