International Women’s Day – “Not One Day for Equality”
2004

To highlight gender equality, Anadolu Efes Sports Club continued its #NotOneDayforEquality campaign, which it had launched with Yanındayız Association on March 8, 2024, International Women’s Day, expanding its scope in 2025. On Friday, March 7, 2025, the message of gender equality was once again emphasized during the Anadolu Efes vs. Virtus Bologna game at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.

With the collaboration of Anadolu Efes and Yanındayız Association, various activities before and during the game breaks aimed to raise awareness on gender equality. Anadolu Efes players took the court wearing warm-up shirts printed with the slogan #NotOneDayforEquality, making the message clearly visible. The club’s beloved mascot, Çaylak, also appeared in a special video shown in the stands, drawing the attention of basketball fans to gender equality statistics in Turkey. The video reinforced the message that women and men should have equal rights, responsibilities, opportunities, and value.

A special sneaker design created using artificial intelligence (AI) as part of the ##NotOneDayforEquality campaign in collaboration with our partner Sneaks Up was turned into a real product and gifted to a fan during the Sneaks Up game on match night. Additionally, many female basketball fans received special gifts during the game, further highlighting the inclusive nature of the campaign.

Through powerful messages and visibility both on the court and in the stands, Anadolu Efes Sports Club once again successfully raised awareness and invited everyone to take action for gender equality with its #NotOneDayforEquality approach.

2023–2024

On the occasion of March 8 International Women’s Day, Anadolu Efes Sports Club launched the ##NotOneDayforEquality campaign in collaboration with Yanındayız Association. “Equality” took center stage during the Anadolu Efes vs. Bayern Munich game held on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

While many informative activities were organized at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, strong women from the Anadolu Efes family were applauded by fans during halftime. From the team’s star players to the head coach, fans to broadcasters, many stakeholders supported the project, spreading messages about gender equality to millions. Shared videos emphasized that opposition to inequality shouldn’t be limited to just March 8.

Throughout the game, statistics from TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute) and the World Economic Forum were shared with fans to raise awareness. At the Yanındayız Association stand, fans were invited to take a 20-question “What’s Your Score?” quiz designed to measure attitudes toward gender norms and raise awareness about gender equality.

The campaign stressed that women and men should enjoy the same rights, opportunities, responsibilities, and values. Anadolu Efes further promoted awareness through equality-themed videos featuring team players.

With the campaign, Anadolu Efes called on everyone to take action for gender equality through impactful messages. The campaign also spotlighted employment inequalities, revealing the gender gap in workforce participation.

Thanks to its "Not One Day for Equality" project launched in the 2023–2024 season, Anadolu Efes won the Silver Award at the EuroLeague Devotion Marketing Awards. Having previously won the Gold Award in 2010, 2013, 2017, 2020, and 2022, and the Silver in 2019, 2021, and 2023, Anadolu Efes secured its fourth Silver in 2024, bringing its total to nine awards in the EuroLeague Devotion Marketing Awards.

The “Not One Day for Equality” project, carried out by Yanındayız Association in partnership with Anadolu Efes Sports Club, also received the SEDEFED Honorable Mention Award in the Golden Compass Public Relations Awards, which is jointly organized by TÜHİD and SEDEFED for NGOs.

"#YuvaOl" – Earthquake Survivor Dogs Welcomed at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall
2024

Anadolu Efes launched a new social responsibility project in collaboration with Pawder and S Sport Plus to support dogs affected by the devastating earthquakes of February 6, 2023.

During the EuroLeague game against AS Monaco, Anadolu Efes hosted earthquake survivor dogs that were injured or displaced in the Kahramanmaraş-centered disaster. To raise awareness about the adoption of shelter and survivor dogs, several of them were brought to Sinan Erdem Sports Hall and took to the court at halftime. Each dog was individually introduced and greeted the fans alongside its trainer.

Throughout the game, Anadolu Efes and Pawder invited basketball fans to “#BeAHome” for these dogs through engaging activities, awareness stands, and informative content placed around the arena. Celebrities and influencers who supported the campaign also attended the game with their own dogs. Notable figures such as Onur Büyüktopçu and Jessica May helped draw attention to the adoption of survivor and shelter animals. A mini “dog tribune” was also set up, where the visiting dogs became the center of attention for spectators.

“Every Point Means +1 Tree”
2023
2022

To contribute to the fight against the climate crisis, Anadolu Efes supported the goal of planting 3 million seed balls under Anadolu Efes’s reforestation initiative launched in 2021 with the “Every Point Means +1 Tree” project.

During three EuroLeague games in the 2021–2022 season, each point scored turned into one tree. Additionally, for every one of the 39,261 fans who attended these games, 10 seed balls were donated. The project resulted in 579,060 seed balls being presented to nature. Physical and digital activities during the campaign brought together Anadolu Efes Sports Club, its players, and fans.

On October 28, 2022, during the EuroLeague game against Fenerbahçe Beko, the project was revived for one game night, resulting in the donation of thousands more seed balls to nature.
