Ataman: ”The Quality of the Match Was Not at the Top Level...”

Anadolu Efes's head coach Ergin Ataman, who lost to AX Armani Exchange Milan 73-66 in the second game of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague play-offs, shared his views after the game as follows:

"I believe the fight was at a high level in the match, but unfortunately the quality of the match was not at the highest level. Both teams missed a lot of shots, even shots from under the basket were missed. We don’t chance to win on a day that Larkin and Micic, only got five hits in 20 three-point attempts, and couldn’t finish the shot from under the rim after the switch. A game where we scored 66 points is not our game. AX Armani Exchange Milan didn't play very well, but Shields did very well. They were better than us in the last 2-3 minutes of the game."
