Clear victory for Anadolu Efes in the first match at Slovenia: 90-61

Preparing for the new season at Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, Anadolu Efes defeated the Slovenian side Union Olimpija 90-61 in its first match here.

Efes was leading 41-38 at the halftime of the match.

Derrick Brown: 5 points, 1 assist.
Okben Ulubay: 10 points, 2 rebounds.
Jayson Granger: 14 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal.
Jon Diebler: 9 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals.
Emircan Koşut: 11 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block.
Bryant Dunston: 18 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist.

Playing for our feeder team Pertevniyal, Elijah Johnson scored 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

While Ahmet Düverioğlu couldn’t play due to his injury, Thomas Heurtel, not included in the roster, maintained his individual training.

Doğuş Balbay, Birkan Batuk, Cedi Osman, Furkan Korkmaz and Dario Saric, who have been called by their respective national teams, and Nenad Krstic, out with an injury, weren’t included in Anadolu Efes’s the Slovenia training camp roster.

Anadolu Efes will play against the Slovenian side Krka tomorrow (Saturday, September 5th) at 20.30 Turkish Local Time for its second preseason match in Slovenia.
