“First of all, congratulations to Olympiacos on their victory. As always, there are both positives and negatives to take away. Starting with the negatives: our first half was not good. Olympiacos is a great team and made some tough shots, but it took us three or four minutes just to get into the game. When you give that kind of advantage to a team like Olympiacos, it becomes very difficult to compete. On the positive side, we showed heart and played much better on both ends in the second half. I met Papagiannis today -unfortunately, he’s probably not going to play this season, but I was very happy to see him. We really need our injured players back, especially Poirier, Loyd, and Shane. Papagiannis likely will not return, so we’re missing key players who could give us more depth during games. I am pleased that some players, even after injuries or illness -like Ercan and PJ Dozier- are looking better day by day. In the end, we lost, and it’s disappointing. But I’m not someone who focuses only on the result. I try to see both the good and the bad, regardless of the outcome.”
