Perasovic: “After the loss two days ago, it was crucial to win this match today...”

Defeating Galatasaray Odeabank 86-76 at the 14th week match of Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Anadolu Efes coach Velimir Perasovic commented at the post-game press conference:

“After the loss two days ago, I believe it was crucial to win this match today. I believe we battled all throughout the match and deserved the victory. We had a pretty good start in the first quarter, but we were lacking in defensive rebounds in the second quarter. We started putting up some pretty good effort in the third quarter and maintained that in the final quarter, taking home a well-deserved victory.”

Velimir Perasovic also answered a question on the new signing Brandon Paul’s performance: “Brandon Paul played really well today. He has been with us only for three days. He can display his character in the game, which is very crucial. He scored a lot today, and made steals. We need time, but I’m very sure that he will help us a lot.”
