David Mutaf, who trained in the Fenerbahçe Beko youth academy, finished third with his Under-16 National Team at the 2018 European Basketball Championship held in Serbia. The young player, who won the EuroCup title with Spanish team Gran Canaria in the 2022-23 season, was transferred to Bursaspor Yörsan at the start of the 2023-24 season. This season, Mutaf averaged 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in six games in the European Cup. He also averaged 12.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 30 games in the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Lig.
