Our team started the game with Larkin, Weiler-Babb, Cordinier, Smits, and Ercan. All of our first six points came from Larkin, giving us a 6-4 lead in the third minute. In the rest of the quarter, Smits added three points and Şehmus two and we finished the first 10 minutes behind 20-11. We opened the second quarter with a three-pointer by Cordinier: 14-20. After Ercan scored under the rim, Weiler-Babb and Larkin each made two free throws and the 13th minute was played at 20-26. When the score reached 20-32 in the 14th minute, coach Kokoskov called a timeout. After the timeout, points from Smits and Larkin brought the score to 25-36 in the 16th minute. Following that, we hit one three-pointer each from Loyd and Larkin and two from Weiler-Babb to close the gap to 37-41 in the 19th minute. In the last minute of the half Larkin scored again and we went into the locker room trailing 43-39.

We began the second half with baskets from Ercan and Weiler-Babb, making it 44-48 in the 23rd minute. After Smits’ layup and five straight points from Larkin, the 25th minute passed with a score of 51-56. In the closing minutes of the quarter Weiler-Babb and Erkan added points, and we entered the final 10 minutes trailing 65-58. In the last period, we couldn’t score in the first three minutes and when the score reached 58-72 in the 33rd minute, coach Kokoskov called a timeout. After the timeout, a three-pointer from Ercan made it 61-72 in the 34th minute. Following Larkin’s three-pointer, Weiler-Babb and Cordinier brought the score to 69-76 in the 37th minute. In the final part of the game, Weiler-Babb had to leave the court after an injury. Despite scoring through Ercan, Cordinier and Smits, we couldn’t close the gap and lost the game 86-75.
