Set to play its 923rd game on the European stage, our team has recorded 510 wins and 412 losses in the 922 games it has played in European competitions to date.
Anadolu Efes, which will take the court for its 675th EuroLeague game, having competed in the competition since the 2001-02 season, has recorded 353 wins and 321 losses in the 674 games it has played so far.
Anadolu Efes and Paris Basketball have met 4 times in European competitions to date, and in the 4 EuroLeague games between the two sides, our team has recorded 1 win and 3 losses.
In the final game of the double-game week, our team defeated Panathinaikos Aktor 83-68 at home, while our opponent left its trip to Maccabi Tel Aviv with a win.
Our head coach Pablo Laso's pre-game remarks are as follows:
Paris Basketball is a team that is always surprising. They started the EuroLeague somewhat slowly, but now they have two key away wins and are playing at a good level.
They have Nadir Hifi, who is undoubtedly one of the league’s best scorers; he is difficult to defend one-on-one, is dangerous in the pick-and-roll, and shoots from distance. He is surrounded by a good group that works well together, though.
As I mentioned, they have gained confidence because they won their last two away games, so we must be ready from the first minute.
Our player Cameron Payne's tought about game:
"Paris Basketball game will be very exciting and fast-paced! They play very well and are on the court with great energy and effort.
We will have to keep turnovers to a minimum against their pressure defense! Also, defensively, we need to make sure we watch for their 3-point shooting.
Let's not forget Nadir Hifi too; he will be difficult to defend, and at the end of the day, we will need to put in a team effort.
