Ataman: ”Finally We Came From The Back And Won The Match In The Last Second...”

Head coach Ergin Ataman of Anadolu Efes, who won the away game 86-84 against Darüşşafaka Lassa in the second game of the play-off semi-finals of the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League, shared his views after the game:

"Now, first of all, I would like to congratulate Darüşşafaka Lassa. They are a team that fought very well. Today, they played very well both tactically and in terms of struggle throughout the match. They made good use of our weaknesses. Especially today, Olaseni played very well. He played very well against us in the rebounds. On offense, Clyburn was very bad today, that is, he has a nine-to-one shooting percentage, which spoiled our offensive plans. Finally, they came from behind, grabbing the ball - of course, it was unfortunate for them that Doğuş missed the fouls - we won the game at the last second. Of course. Now we will look ahead to the playoffs. We will wait for our opponent in the semi-finals. We continue. Today we played well at times, but in the first part of the match, we were very soft on defense. Later on, we got tougher, but as I said, we had problems especially in stopping Olaseni and in rebounds. We'll look at the semi-finals and start the preparations for the series."
