Ataman: “We’ve Played Anadolu Efes’s Basketball That We’ve Played For The Last Two Years…”

Defeating Barcelona team 89-79 in the 16th-week match of Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman stated his thoughts post-game:

"It wasn’t a great start for us, the rival team scored a lot and we’ve missed empty shots. Afterward, when Shane Larkin started to play we’ve played an amazing basketball within the second and the third quarters. We’ve scored 19 assists tonight, and so we’ve scored through pick'n roll. We’ve witnessed some tiredness symptoms within the last quarter, and stressed a little as well. The reason behind this stress is our ranking in the Euroleague. We’ve made some simple mistakes towards the end of the match, we’ve failed to score some simple shots and Barcelona returned. We’ve controlled the match well at the last 2-3 minutes of the match. I think that we’ve played Anadolu Efes’s basketball that we’ve played for the last two years and won.”
