Post-Game Comments By Ergin Ataman

Head coach Ergin Ataman of Anadolu Efes, who lost 71-81 away from Valencia in the 18th week of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, shared his views after the game:

"Congratulations to Valencia. They put the character on the pitch. In a league like the Euroleague, it's very difficult to play at this level without your main point guards, where the two main point guards weren't on the field. They stayed on the court with their aggressive defense and emotion and managed to win the game in the last quarter. The game until the last quarter. It was in our control but we stopped being aggressive in the last quarter. A big loss for us, a big win for Valencia. We haven't played good basketball in the last two or three game periods. This situation existed at the beginning of the season and we solved it. I hope that will change. We lost the game in a way. We left the game in the last five minutes. We have to work on this within ourselves."
