We’ve renewed a 2-year contract with the head-coach Ergin Ataman. Ataman, as known, coached the team three times in the seasons 1999-2001, 2008-10 and finally 2017-18.
The titles and trophies our team has won with Ergin Ataman throughout all these coaching years are second place of Euroleague, third place of Euroleague, a Basketball Super League trophy, three Presidential Cup titles, two Domestic Cup titles, and with the youth league one U14 Turkey Championship, three U16 Turkey Championship and two U20 Turkey Championship trophies.
Anadolu Efes is leaving behind an unforgettable season for the fans with seasonal tickets, and as it is known our team defeated Fenerbahçe Beko in the semi-finals of Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four that took place in Spain’s Vitoria Gasteiz and qualified to the finale, then lost against Russia’s CSKA Moscow team 83-91 and finished the 2018-19 season of Euroleague in the second place.
