While Micic, Beaubois, Elijah, Polonara, and Zizic were our starting five, coach Ergin Ataman took a time-out when the score was 0-7 in the first two minutes. After the timeout, our first points in the game came from Clyburn and the fourth minute was passed with a score of 5-10. After Taylor's three-pointer, another basket from Clyburn made the score 10-16 in the eighth minute. We hit a three-pointer with Pleiss in the remaining part and were behind 13-18 in the first 10 minutes. We started the second quarter with Beaubois' two and Micic's one three-pointer and the score was 22-25 in the 13th minute. With the points of Elijah and Clyburn, our team was trailing 28-36 in the 15th minute, and we brought the score to 33-37 in the 18th minute with the points of Beaubois and Polonara. We couldn't score in the rest of the quarter and finished the first half of the game behind 33-41.

Our first basket in the second half came from Pleiss, and the score was 35-41 in the 21st minute. After Beaubois' three-pointer, Polonara and Zizic's points under-the-rim shots brought the score to 42-45 in the 25th minute. With Beaubois's points, we narrowed the gap to one point in the 27th minute: 46-47. After the score was 46-53 in the next minute, after Zizic, Clyburn, and Beaubois' points, we were one point behind in the last 10 minutes of the game: 52-53. We started the final period with Clyburn's two-pointers and took the lead for the first time in the 32nd minute, bringing the score to 58-53. Recording six points after Elijah's three-pointer, Micic brought the score to 67-59 at 34:30. With Clyburn and Micic's points, we increased the lead to eight points in the last 2:30 minutes of the game: 74-66. We brought the score to 77-69 in the last 1:30 minutes of the game with Beaubois's three-pointer. We maintained our score advantage in the remaining section and won the match 82-71 after five points by Clyburn.
