Darius Karutasu began playing basketball in Romania, and in 2018 he joined the Anadolu Efes family. Starting with our U12 Team in our youth academy, his journey continued successively with our U14, U16, and U18 teams and, Darius was promoted to our Senior Team midway through the 2025-26 season. In 2023, Darius Karutasu reached the podium’s “championship” level with our U14 Team at the U14 Turkish Championship organized in Samsun. Our successful player was selected to the All-Tournament First Team at the U16 Turkish Championship held in Denizli in 2025 and, in the same year, he also earned a place in the All-Tournament First Team at the U18 Turkish Championship was held in Mersin.
