Pablo Laso: “We Did a Great Job in Defending and Rebounding...”
In the 31st round of the Euroleague Regular Season, Anadolu Efes won 81-80 against Germany’s FC Bayern Münich on the road and our head coach Pablo Laso shared his thoughts as below in the post-game press conference:

“First of all, congratulations to my players on the victory. Tonight is a night to be proud of their effort, because this was not easy. We didn’t play well in the first half, missing too many open shots and trailing for most of the time. But we stayed in the game, remained focused, and eventually found ways to attack better and make our shots. I am very proud of my players. We knew Bayern Munich is a very tough team, especially with Obst and Lucic playing at such a high level. We understood it would be a hard game and that we would need to stay very concentrated. The rebounding battle was especially important for us, as Bayern is aggressive on both ends of the floor. We did a great job in defending and rebounding. In the end, basketball sometimes comes down to the last shot. Today, last shot decided the game. It was our game, and we are happy for the victory knowing that we still have many important and difficult games ahead in the EuroLeague.”
